The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) shared challenges facing journalists and media houses with Mawlawi Amanuddin Mansoor, governor of Helmand province.
In the meeting, Abdullah Haqmal, AJSC’s provincial focal point for Helmand, in addition to sharing challenges facing journalists in this province, discussed the overall media work situation and emphasized facilitating journalists’ access to information and the need for the government entities cooperation with journalists and media houses.
In this meeting, governor of Helmand, said that effective steps will be taken to address challenges facing media houses and facilitate journalists work.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
