AJSC provides emergency support for journalists and media workers who are under serious threat of violence, whether from the Taliban, ISIS, government figures, warlords, or other actors. The types of emergency support the organization provides range from taking immediate action to eliminate the threat, to placing journalists in distress in a safe house or relocating them overseas until the threat recedes. In cases where a province risks falling to the Taliban, AJSC takes immediate action to create safe exit for all journalists and media workers to a secure location.
