Mufti Abdul Mateen Qani, spokespersons for the Minstry of Interior Affairs (MoIA), visited the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC).
In the meeting government and media coordination, facilitating journalists access to information, journalists’ safety and addressing challenges facing media outlets were discussed.
Jamil Weqar, head of AJSC, while emphasizing on the importance of information in producing media content, said that facilitating journalists better access to information will improve media work.
MoI spokesperson, in this meeting, stated that while some efforts have been made to improve journalists’ access to information, he will further endeavour to improve this process.
AJSC has been continuously working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and media workers across the country.
