Abdul Wahid Wahdat, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee’s (AJSC) provincial focal point for Baghlan province, shared challenges facing journalists and media outlets in this province with Mawlawi Abdullah Mukhtar, Governor of Baghlan.
During the meeting, the AJSC’s representative discussed the overall situation of media and journalists in the province, challenges facing media work, safety of journalists and journalists’ access to information.
In the meeting, governor of Baghlan, emphasized on expansion of media activities in the province, adding that the government supports media and journalists.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
