AJSC Welcomes the Release of Journalist Mirza Hassani

The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) welcomes the release of Mirza Hassan, head of Aftab Radio Station in Daikundi province.

The AJSC has been relentlessly working for Afghan journalists’ rights and safety, and was heavily involved in advocacy efforts for the release of Mr. Hassani.

The AJSC called for the release of Mirza Hassani, in the recent meeting of the Commission on Media Violations, which was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
