The provincial representatives of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held coordination and advocacy meetings with provincial officials, media managers and local journalists of Nangarhar, Samangan, Sar-e Pul, Jawzjan, Logar, Faryab and Badakhshan provinces.
In the meetings, the right to access to information, journalists’ safety, better coordination between government and media officials, holding regular coordination meetings between government officials and media representatives, and financial and publication related problems of the media organizations were discussed.

The provincial officials of the abovementioned provinces promised to facilitate better access to information for journalists and cooperation of local government officials, during these meetings.
