To evaluate challenges and opportunities of media work, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held meetings with managers of government and private media houses in Helmand, Badakhshan, Parwan Nuristan, Zabul and Laghman provinces.
In the meetings, AJSC’s provincial focal points, officials of RTA (National Radio and Television of Afghanistan) and managers of Ghag, Raghon, Dunya-e Nawin, Saday-e Baharistan and Saday-e Kokcha local radio stations had participated.
In these meetings, challenges and opportunities facing media work, access to information, AJSC’s activities in improving the situation of the media, and financial issues of the media were discussed.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
