To evaluate challenges and opportunities of media work, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held meetings with managers of a number of private media houses in Kabul, Kundoz, Farah, Ghor, Nimroz, Nuristan and Laghman provinces.
In the meetings, AJSC representatives, head of Bakhtar News Agency and managers of Chinar, Kohandazh, Firozkoh, Saday-e Adalat, Saday-e Badghis, Faryad and Ziyar radio stations, and Yazdah (11) and Obor radio and television networks, had participated.
In these meetings, challenges and opportunities facing media work, access to information, AJSC’s activities in improving the situation of the media, and financial issues of the media were discussed.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
