The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), to address challenges facing media work in Kandahar province, held an advocacy meeting with Innamullah Samangani, head of Directorate of Information and Culture of this province.
Matiullah Sarwar, AJSC’s advocacy officer, in addition to discussing facilitating better access to information, journalists’ safety and creating better working relationship between the media and the government, urged facilitating better working conditions for media.
In the meeting, director of information and culture of this province, in addition to announcing his support for media and journalists, said that he will cooperate in addressing challenges facing journalists.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
