The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met with Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in Kandahar province. Inamullah Samangani, director of information and culture directorate of Kandahar, was also present in this meeting.
Matiullah Sarwar, AJSC’s advocacy officer, shared challenges facing media work with government officials, and urged that challenges facing journalists should be addressed.
Zabihullah Mujahid, IEA spokesperson, said that he will assist in addressing challenges facing journalists and media houses.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
