AJSC Meet Police Chiefs of Saripul and Paktika Provinces

The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), to address challenges facing journalists, organized separate meetings with Mawlawi Abdul Basir Mazhari, police chief of Saripul province and Mawlawi Mohammad Sharif Halimi, police chief of Paktika province.


AJSC’s provincial representatives, in addition to discussing topics such as access to information and journalists’ safety, raised challenges facing journalists and urged the government officials to address them.


Police chiefs of these provinces promised to cooperate in addressing journalists’ challenges and provide better facilities for them.


AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
