To evaluate challenges and opportunities of media work, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held meetings with managers and journalists of local media houses in Ghazni, Logar and Takhar provinces.
AJSC’s provincial focal points, head of Ghazni’s information department of information and culture directorate, managers and reporters of Pajhwok News Agency, Salam Watandar, Batkhtar News Agency, Mahal Radio, RTA Logar, Khushal Radio Danish-e Roz Radio, and Mah-e now Radio and Television, had participated in these meetings.
In these meetings, challenges and opportunities facing media work, access to information, AJSC’s activities in improving the situation of the media, and financial issues of the media were discussed.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
