To evaluate the challenges facing media work, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), during his trip to the northern zone, met with Shamsuddin Mohammadi, head of information and culture directorate of Faryab province.
Abdul Qadeem Wyar, deputy and acting director of the AJSC, in this meeting, discussed journalists’ challenges and AJSC’s activities and plans to support journalists, and emphasized on providing better facilities for journalists.
In this meeting, Faryab’s director of information and culture, describe the media houses’ work, especially in Faryab, as a huge achievement and asked for facilitating capacity building opportunities for the journalists of this province.
In this meeting, AJSC’s acting director was accompanied by Abdul Latif Sahak, AJSC’s north zone coordinator.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media, and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
