The acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), during his trip to the northeast zone, visited Kundoz Radio, Uranus Tv and Kohandazh Radio in Kundoz province.
In the meetings which were organized to evaluate local media houses activities and challenges facing media work, topics such as economic challenges of media houses, access to information, and the importance of media work were discussed.
Abdul Qadeem Wyar, deputy and acting director of the AJSC, the meetings with local media managers and officials of Kundoz’s directorate of information and culture, in addition to discussing the importance of media work, emphasized on providing better facilities for journalists.
In these meetings, AJSC’s acting director was accompanied by Ziaulhaq Zahed, AJSC’s northeast zone coordinator.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media, and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
