To evaluate challenges and opportunities of media work, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held meetings with managers and journalists of nine local media houses in Nuristan, Badakhshan, Zabul, Helmand, Nimroz, Ghor and Farah provinces.
AJSC’s provincial focal points, managers and reporters of RTA Nuristan, RTA Badakhshan, Shkula, Sukoon, Talim-ul Islam, Sarhad, Faryad, Nawa-e Zan radio stations had participated in these meetings.
In these meetings, challenges and opportunities facing media work, access to information, AJSC’s activities in improving the situation of the media, and financial issues of the media were discussed.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
