The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) shared challenges facing journalists and media houses with Abdullah Sarhadi, governor of Bamyan province.
Gulabuddin Amiri, AJSC’s coordinator for the central zone, and Sayed Amin Hamta, AJSC’s focal point for Bamyan had participated in this meeting.
Gulabuddin Amiri, AJSC’s coordinator for the central zone, in addition to providing information on AJSC’s activities, discussed the overall media work situation in this province and emphasized the need for the governor’s office’s cooperation with journalists and media houses.
In this meeting, Abdullah Sarhadi, governor of Bamyan province gave assurance that all challenges facing journalists will be addressed.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
