The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), to address challenges facing media work, met with Mawlawi Ziaulhaq Haqmal, acting deputy minister of publication of the Ministry of Information and Culture (MOIC), in Kundoz province.
Ziaullhaq Zahid, AJSC’s coordinator for the northeast zone, in addition to discussing the overall media work situation in this zone, urged the acting deputy minister to address challenges facing journalists and facilitate better access to information.
In the meeting, Mr.Haqmal emphasized on addressing challenges facing journalists and media houses adding that there is no restraints in sharing information with journalists and all government entities are directed to share information with them.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
