The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held an advocacy meeting with Shaikh Mohammad Qasem Khalid, governor of Nimroz Province.
Abdul Ghafar Azizi, AJSC’s provincial focal point for Nimroz province, in addition to sharing challenges facing media work in this province, discussed the overall media work situation and emphasized the need for the government entities cooperation with journalists and media houses.
In this meeting, Shaikh Mohammad Qasem Khalid, governor of Nimroz, considered the work of media houses crucial in the current circumstances and added that the local administration has always supported media.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
