The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) organized meetings with spokespersons of local administration in Ghazni, Kundoz, Kapisa, Nuristan and Baghlan provinces to facilitate journalists and media outlets’ timely access to credible information.
In these meetings the concepts related to information and importance of journalists’ access to information were discussed, and the need for government facilitating access to information was emphasized.
Government officials in these meetings promised to cooperate with the journalists and the media outlets, and provide journalists with the needed information.
AJSC has been continuously working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and media workers across the country.
