The director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), held separate meetings with Mawlawi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, director of information and culture directorate of Herat, and a number of local journalists in Herat province.
Abdul Qadeem Wyar, director of the AJSC, in the meeting head of information and culture directorate of Herat, emphasized on facilitating journalists’ better access to information and said that the directorate of information and culture plays a crucial role in this regard.
In his meeting with journalist and media managers of Herat province, he said that AJSC works to address challenges facing journalists and provide them with better services.
In these meetings, AJSC’s acting director was accompanied by Shamil Ahmad Mashal, AJSC’s western zone coordinator.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media, and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
