Mawlawi Naimullhaq Haqqani, director of Government Media and Information Centre (GMIC), accompanied by a number of this entities officials visited the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC).
In the meeting government and media coordination, journalists’ safety and addressing media and journalists’ challenges in accessing information were discussed.
Jamil Weqar, head of AJSC, while emphasizing on the importance of media work said that facilitating journalists better access to information will improve media work.
The head of GMIC, in this meeting, stated that efforts will be made to improve journalists’ access to information.
AJSC has been continuously working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and media workers across the country.
