The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) obtained the membership of the Copyright Board of the Ministry of Information and Culture. The inaugural meeting of the board, chaired by deputy minister for publication of the said ministry, was held on September 8
In addition to welcoming the board’s resumption of work, the AJSC emphasized that the board’s activities should be in accordance with the copyright law.
Deputy minister for publication of the Ministry of Information and Culture said that copyright is an important matter and members of the board were selected in accordance with the law, adding that the board will operate regularly.
In the meeting, other participants also welcomed the board’s resumption of work and shared their recommendations for betterment of the board’s activities.
