In continuation of the capacity building programs of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), the “Journalists Safety” and “First Aid” training programs were organized for 176 journalists and media workers from 34 provinces of Afghanistan in eight zones.
In the training programs, journalists and media workers were trained on subjects such as safety measures while reporting from crowded areas and protest sites, workplace safety, providing first aid for different types of wounds, CPR, protecting and caring for wounds, etc.
The training programs were organized for two days in Balkh, Herat, Nangarhar, Kandahar, Baghlan, Khost, Ghazni and Parwan provinces.
At the end of the Journalists Safety and First Aid training programs each participant received a first aid kit and a participation certificate.
