In order to facilitate better coordination between government and the media, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held a coordination meeting with Abdul Nafi Takor, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior (MOI).
In the meeting, topics such as access to information, coordination between this ministry and the media and journalists’ safety in the centre and provinces were discussed.
Furthermore, Matiullah Sarwar, AJSC’s coordinator for the Capital Zone, urged Mr. Takor to facilitate better access to information and safe environment for journalists.
In addition to calling the AJSC’s work in facilitating better coordination between government and the media important, Mr.Takor promised to facilitate better access to information and safe environment for journalists.
