The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) organized “Gender-Sensitive Reporting” and “Psychosocial Support” training programs for 53 journalists and media workers of different media houses in Kabul, Herat and Nangarhar provinces.

Participants of the Psychosocial Support program, after taking part in the general session on psychosocial issues, were introduced to individual counseling sessions based on their needs.
One of the participants of the Psychosocial Support program says: “organizing such training programs is important and effective for vulnerable women, especially female journalists, who are facing difficulties to work under current circumstances.”
Furthermore, participants of the training programs thanked the AJSC for organizing such constructive training programs.
