To address challenges facing media work and creating better coordination between media and the government, a delegation of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), led by the AJSC Acting Director met with head of directorate of propagation of virtue and prevention of vice of Nangarhar province.
In the meeting, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC, emphasized on facilitating better coordination between media and government officials, adding that one of the objectives of this trip is to meet government officials in regards with challenges facing journalists and media workers.
Mawlawi Zahid Wafa, head of directorate of propagation of virtue and prevention of vice, promised to facilitate better coordination between government and media, adding that he will organize a coordination meeting with journalists of this province in the near future.
The AJSC has been tirelessly working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and better coordination between government and the media.
