To address challenges facing media work, access to information and to create better coordination between media and the government, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met with police chief of Baghlan province.
In the meeting with Mawlawi Jan Mohammad Hamza, police chief of this province, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC emphasized on the need facilitating a free environment for journalists, adding that AJSC has been working to facilitate a safe working environment for media houses, and journalists’ better access to information by creating better coordination between media and government officials in this province.
