To address challenges facing media work, access to information and to create better coordination between media and the government, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met with head of information and culture directorate of Baghlan province.
In the meeting with Mawlawi Mustafa Hashimi, head of information and culture directorate Baghlan province, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC, emphasized on facilitating journalists’ better access to information, adding that AJSC has been working to facilitate a safe working environment for media houses, and journalists’ better access to information.
Director of information and culture directorate of Baghlan province said that organizing this kind of meetings is important and asked AJSC to help and support this entity in addressing challenges facing journalists and media houses.
The AJSC has been tirelessly working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and better coordination between government and the media.
