To evaluate challenges facing media work in Samangan province, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met a number of local media managers and journalists of this province.
In the meeting, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC, in addition to providing information on AJSC’s activities in addressing challenges journalists media houses, said that the AJSC has been working to find adequate solution to financial challenges of media houses and facilitate journalists access to information.
Journalists of Samangan province talked about the challenges they are facing and asked the AJSC acting director to facilitate capacity building programs for them. They further asked the international media support organizations to support active journalists and media houses in this province.
The AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing media houses and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
