AJSC Shares Challenges Facing Journalists with Governor of Ghazni Province

The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) shared challenges facing journalists and media houses with Hafiz Amin Jan Omari, governor of Ghazni, in a meeting held in this province.


Mawlawi Hamidullah Nisar, head of information and culture directorate of Ghazni, Gulabudin Amiri, AJSC zone coordinator for central zone, spokespersons for Ghazni’s local administration, and a number of local media managers and journalists of this province also participated in the meeting.


Gulabudin Amiri, AJSC zone coordinator for central zone, in addition to discussing challenges and opportunities facing journalists and media houses, urged better support and cooperation for media houses and journalists.


Governor of Ghazni emphasized on protecting the journalistic values and maintaining effective media work, adding that the Islamic Emirate is committed to supporting the media and journalists.


The AJSC has been working for facilitating better work relationships between the government and the media, and a safe environment for journalists.
