The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) shared challenges facing journalists and media houses with Mula Ahmadshah Dindost, governor of Ghor, in a meeting held in this province.
Mawlawi Abdul Hai Zaeim, head of information and culture directorate of Ghor, Ghulam Rabani Hadafmand, AJSC’s provincial focal point for Ghor, and a number of local media managers and journalists of this province also participated in the meeting.
In the meeting, issues such as the overall media situation in the province, challenges facing the media community and solutions to these challenges, journalists’ safety and access to information were discussed.
The AJSC has been working for facilitating better work relationships between the government and the media, and a safe environment for journalists.
