In order to address challenges facing media and journalists work in Ghor province, the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met Mula Ahmadshah Dindost, governor of this province.
In this meeting, topics such as the overall media work situation in this province, facilitating journalists’ access to information, safety of journalists and media houses financial challenges were discussed.
Shamil Ahmad Mashal, AJSC’s western zone coordinator, in addition to sharing information on AJSC’s activities and initiative in support of journalists and media workers, emphasized on the need for better cooperation of government entities with journalists and media houses.
Governor of Ghor province, while appreciating AJSC’s activities in this province under the current circumstances, emphasized on supporting and cooperating with the media community in this province.
AJSC has been consistently working to address challenges facing the media, and facilitate a safe environment for journalists.
