Khanwali Salarzai, a prominent journalist and head of a private local radio station in Kunar province, has sadly passed away due to illness.
Mr. Salarzai for two decades had worked as head of the RTA (National Radio and Television of Afghanistan) in Kunar, and had also worked as a journalist Pajhwok News Agency and other media outlets.
The death of Mr. Salarzai is a great loss for the country’s media community, especially of the Kunar province.
