Mohammad Usman Akram, a prominent Afghan satirist, has sadly passed away of a disease.
Mr. Akram was an influential cultural figure who founded and managed “Zanbil Gham” magazine. He also worked as presenter of satirical Tv shows. had worked as a journalist and photojournalist with a number of international media outlets such as Reuters, Associated Press, and France Press.
The death of Mr. Akram is a great loss for the country’s media and cultural community.
