To address challenges facing media work, access to information and to create better coordination between media and the government, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met with the head of information and culture directorate of Balkh province.
In the meeting, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC, emphasized on facilitating journalists’ better access to information, and said that AJSC has been working to facilitate a safe working environment for media houses, and journalists’ better access to information by creating better coordination between media and government officials in this province.
In AJSC acting director’s meeting with Zabihullah Nurrani, head of Balkh’s Directorate of Information and Culture, Atta Mohammad Saho, this directorates head of information department, Abdul Latif Sahak, AJSC coordinator for North Zone, head of Bakhtar News Agency in Balkh and head of Balkh’s public library had participated.
The AJSC has been tirelessly working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and better coordination between government and the media.
