The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) shared challenges facing journalists and media houses with Mohammad Yaqoub Abdul Rahman, governor of Saripul province, in a meeting held in this province.
Ghulam Sakhi Frotan, AJSC’s provincial focal point for Saripul, in addition to providing information on AJSC’s activities, discussed challenges facing journalists and media workers, the overall media situation in this province, journalists’ safety and access to information.
The AJSC has been working for facilitating better working relationships between the government and the media, and a safe environment for journalists.
