Radio Nasim, a local radio station in Daikundi province, has resumed its broadcast after six months as a result of advocacy efforts of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC).
Sayed Mustafa Saleh, head of information and culture directorate of Daikundi, says that local radio station, Nasim Radio has been allowed to resume broadcasting activities by the Ministry of Information and Culture and local authorities, after it was banned six months ago for illegal broadcasting.
AJSC urges the interim government to address all media violation cases through the Media Violations Commission.
AJSC has been continuously working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and media workers.
