A private television station in Farah province called “Maqam” has started its pilot broadcasts

Farah, Afghanistan: Maqam Private TV, which currently has 14 employees, has started its pilot broadcasts in Farah province, western Afghanistan. TV officials say the purpose of establishing it is to raise awareness, deliver the message of peace to people, and counter-extremism. The number of employees of this media is supposed to increase with the beginning of official broadcasting.
There are currently 10 private radios and two television stations in Farah province. Among them are two radio stations, “Radi Sada-e-Zan” and “Radio Neda-e-Zan”, which recently started broadcasting special programs for women.
