The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee held a two-day workshop for the journalists of the eastern zone in Jalalabad city, the capital of Nangarhar province.
Twenty journalists, including women, from Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan provinces participated in the workshop.
The participants were trained on how to keep themselves safe and how to advocate for timely access to information. Additionally, the fundamental of cybersecurity was also thought to the participants.
Journalists participating in the workshop thanked the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee for holding such programs.
