The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) welcomes the release of Abdul Hanan Mohammadi, reporter for Pazhwak News Agency, and calls for the release of the last journalist who is still in detention.
The AJSC has been relentlessly working for Afghan journalists’ rights and safety and was heavily involved in advocacy efforts for the release of Mr. Mohammadi.
The AJSC called for the release of Abdul Hanan Mohammadi and Mirza Hassani, in the recent meeting of the Commission of Media Violations, which was held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
