The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) held advocacy and coordination meetings with governors of Faryab and Sar-e Pul provinces. A number of media officials and journalists from these provinces also participated in these meetings.
In the meetings, government officials’ cooperation and coordination with the media, and addressing challenges facing media houses were discussed.

The advocacy and coordination meetings were held with Damullah Mohammad Shoaib Resalat, governor of Faryab province and Mohammad Yaqoub Abdul Rahman Aka, governor of Sar-e Pul province.
The AJSC has been working to facilitate a safe work environment for journalists, and better coordination between the government and the media.
