The Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC), in order to address challenges facing journalists, organized coordination and advocacy meetings with provincial officials, media managers and local journalists of Bamyan, Kapisa and Sar-e Pul provinces.
In the meetings, challenges facing journalists and topics such as the right to access to information, journalists’ safety and coordination between government and the media, were discussed.
The provincial officials of the said provinces promised facilitating better access to information and cooperation of local officials, during these meetings.
The AJSC has been tirelessly working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and better coordination between government and the media.
