To address challenges facing media work, access to information and to create better coordination between media and the government, the acting director of the Afghan Journalists Safety Committee (AJSC) met with governor of Baghlan province.
In the meeting with Mawlawi Hizbullah Samiullah, governor of Baghlan province, Abdul Qadeem Wyar, acting director of the AJSC emphasized on facilitating better working environment for journalists, adding that AJSC has been working to facilitate a safe working environment for media houses, and journalists’ better access to information by creating better coordination between media and government officials in this province.
Governor of Baghlan, in addition to appreciating the AJSC acting director’s visit to this province, said that the local administration in the province will cooperate and help address the challenges facing journalists and local media houses.
The AJSC has been tirelessly working to facilitate a safe environment for journalists and better coordination between government and the media.
